Someone formatted their memory stick on their Sony Handycam. We recovered .mt2s files using PhotoRec. We could not import .mt2s files into Final Cut Pro. We could not use Log and Transfer without rebuilding the AVCHD directory structure. We tried to rebuild the structure by using PMB (Picture Motion Browser) and exporting to Handycam. Our version of PMB errored, "ONLY AVCHD 1080i VIDEO RECORDED BY A HANDYCAM CAN BE EXPORTED." We updated PMB. Export to Handycam: Exporting completed. Some exported. Some .m2ts files errored, "An unknown error occurred. [0090 - 8044 - 8013 - 0000C01B]."
